I take a bio-psycho-social approach to help bridge connections and better understand how one’s nervous system, emotional landscape, and relational dynamics influence arousal and sexual functioning.Avenues of sex therapy, I provide support around:
Increasing understanding and knowledge of your own/and partners arousal blueprint
Reducing sexual pain and better understanding needs associated with pelvic pain disorders
Improving difficulty with orgasms and/or erections
Closing the gap around desire discrepancies and honoring individual differences
Reducing sexual anxiety and improving assertive communication skills to support with vocalizing needs/wants
Investigating the impact of social narratives and stigma on your sexual interests, practices, or pleasure-based activities that fall outside the norm of "dominant" culture
Expanding the definition “sex” and what actually contributes to good, even great sex
Exploring impact of sexual trauma on sexual functioning, healing trauma wounds, and increasing opportunity for neutral/pleasant/pleasurable associations with sex
Exploration of kink and power dynamics into one’s sexual practices

But love does not show up alone — it brings along our insecurities, fears of abandonment, desires for control, avoidance, internalized shame, “isms”, and relational narratives we acquired across our lifetime.Avenues of couples therapy, I provide support around:
Improving relational conditions that support with creating space for assertive transparent communication regarding individual and relational needs to thrive
Increasing differentiation (the ability to maintain sense of self/boundaries while remaining emotionally connected to others and being able to manage the dysregulation that can occur when we feel challenged by wanting different things)
Exploration of relationship structures outside of monogamy (i.e relationship imagining, boundary/agreement setting, navigating feelings of insecurity/inadequacy, working through trust ruptures towards repair, etc)
Manuever through relational wounds inherited through childhood or past romantic relationships that are presenting themselves in your current relationship
Increasing awareness of relational narratives and expectations living under the surface that are no longer serving your relationship
Become a better friend, lover, and support to your partner in the way that truly speaks to them
